Andy Pigozzi + Steve Nelson

Andy Pigozzi:
A 20-year veteran architect, Andy is a Principal at StudioGC leading the K-12 practice area and directing quality control on various municipal and government projects. Andy’s extensive background in school design has honed his keen attention to detail and developed his passion for thoughtful quality control to ensure a project’s success. Andy is a long-time Evanston resident and is actively involved in the community. Currently, he is a member of the Evanston/Skokie Consolidated School District Board, serving on both the Finance and Green committees.
Steve Nelson:
Steve Nelson has focused his professional career in the public sector, and specifically K-12 schools, for over 20 years. His depth of hands-on, project experience is informed by his personal knowledge of public school administration and management issues garnered through his service as a board member of the Sycamore Community Unit School District 427 and his involvement with this district’s Education Foundation. Steve is also active with Illinois Association of School Board Officials (IASBO), serving on the Real Estate Committee. Steve’s expertise in school property management, real estate tax issues, enrollment projections, master planning, and referendums makes him a sought-after speaker, and a key collaborator on any school project.
