A major initiative to rebuild Thornton Fractional Township High School District 219 resulted in a number of significant projects including a new Center for Academics & Technology for the district’s advanced students. Both North and South High Schools received substantial additions and renovations including new entrances, classrooms, laboratories, three-station competition gymnasiums, as well as expansions to the cafeterias, Fine Arts departments, and staff office spaces.
