The complexities and quantities of building systems that a hospital is comprised of necessitate the need of virtual design and construction and BIM coordination. Working with Carey Electric, StudioGC completed 3d modeling and coordination of the electrical systems of the new 360,000 square foot facility. Construction is ongoing and the new hospital is anticipated to begin operations in summer of 2016.
Building Trade Coordination
With limited ceiling interstitial space throughout the building, the construction team had to coordinate the location of their installations precisely. The electrical elements are highlighted in green.
