The Green Hills Public Library underwent a reorganization and improvement project of 11,800 SF. Of the work completed, the Library received a newly renovated Youth Services Department, new location for Adult Services Department, additional program space, and modified the canopy at the main entrance. Reorganization and improvements to the Library has allowed for continued and increased services to the communities of Hickory Hills and Palos Hills.
One of the main features includes a saltwater aquarium that StudioGC worked in partner with Something Fishy, Inc. to provide as a welcoming entrance to the Youth Services department.
The project also provided a Teen area where they now have their own designated space to learn, create and gather with friends.
